la Maison de Senteurs by M&S

Like most women, I am always on the lookout for the perfect perfume. You know, that signature scent that's not too old lady, but not reminiscent of Charlie Red either? And if it doesn't break the bank, that's an added bonus. So far, my favourite fragrance range has come from Bvlgari, with Omnia Amethyst and Rose Essentielle. But my funds wouldn't stretch to either of those at the moment, so off I went in search of a suitable replacement. And guess where my nose lead me, but Marks and Spencer! They have a range of EDT's all very reasonably priced, but nothing grabbed until on my way out of the store I noticed the sublime packaging (yes, I'm a sucker for a pretty box) of their 'La Maison de Senteurs' range. Having loved the rose tones of the Bvlgari scent I went for the 'Gardenia Rose' one, and wow, it is absolutely lovely! . It might not have the depth of the more expensive fragrances, but its perfect for spring; light and fresh. And the bottle doesn't look bad either!
